If you bring the car to the beach, make sure sand is not transferred unto the seats/floors/carpets. Its time consuming to remove/clean sand from the car. • How do I pay for charging? What is the battery life/range?

  When you navigate to your destination and your battery is not enough to reach your destination, the navigation automatically navigates you to the nearby supercharger along the way and let you know how long you need to charge to reach your destination. Tesla has a vast supercharging network not only in California but in the entire USA unparalleled by any other EV vehicle. Please note Tesla Superchargers automatically charges my credit card and it's not free! The car can be fully charged at Tesla supercharging station. (takes 1hr for full charge) Renter pays supercharging fees. Renter will be charged idle fees that accrue after the car is done charging. Please remove the charger after 80% is charged. Please make sure to set an alarm for the car based on the ETA of the battery charge.

• How do I unlock/ open the Model Y?

  To open the car door, push on the wide part of metal handle inlaid in the door. The skinny part should pop out. Grab it with your hand and pull it open to open the door. To open the door from the inside, push the small black button with the thin white line on it, located on the inside door handle near your thumb area. To lock and unlock the car from the outside, touch the keycard pouch to the area on the door panel below the side-view camera. To lock or unlock from the inside, push the lock logo on the touchscreen. On the page with the video from Tesla, you will also find other short video clips on how to use various features of the Model Y. Please be sure you watch these before your rental not only for your safety, but to truly enjoy the Tesla Model Y experience! Once you're familiar with how the car works, it's really, really cool and fun to drive.

• How do I turn on Autopilot?

  Push down twice on the shifting stick towards the Drive position when you see a steering wheel logo on the screen. IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: The "Autopilot" and "Full Self-Driving" features of the car do not mean that the car will drive on its own...yet. Tesla is working on that but as of right now, these are safety and convenience features meant to ASSIST the driver, not take over. They do not give the driver the ability to text while driving, drink and drive, or otherwise not be alert and control the car. These features MAY work at red lights or stop signs as of this writing, but please continue to use extreme caution. We insist you please keep your hands on the wheel at all times, even on Autopilot, and to be prepared to take over the vehicle at a moment's notice. • Does the car need to be returned with full charge?

  Car will be given with at least 80% charged. Car will need to be returned the same or above. The following is the charging fee assessed if not returned at same level. 0-20% charge - $50 21-50% charge - $20 50%-80% - $10

• Do we have to clean the car when returning?

  The Model Y will be delivered to you cleaned and vacuumed and disinfected. The guest is expected to do some basic cleaning and return the vehicle in the condition it was delivered. Customer is not required wash and fully vacuum or disinfect the vehicle before returning. However, if the vehicle is in a condition that only could have been caused by irresponsible or abusive behavior (like stains, food spillage etc), we will report to Turo. • Is smoking permitted in the car?

  NO SMOKING! If there is any lingering smell cigarette, marijuana, vaping smell we will report to Turo. Turo can charge in excess $250 for detail and cleaning services.

• Is the guest required to carwash/vacuum the vehicle upon return?

  The vehicle will be delivered to you cleaned, vacuumed and disinfected. The guest is expected to do some basic cleaning and return the vehicle in the condition as it was delivered. Customer is not required to carwash and fully vacuum or disinfect the vehicle before returning. However, as a ride-share, we expect the guest to return the car in same condition when it was delivered, please do some basic cleaning, wipe off the interior/dashboard, if the car is so dirty due to long trips, a basic drive-thru wash will be appreciated. If you do drive thru carwash please only use "Touchless carwash". In self service carwash, never use the provided thick/harsh brushes, just use the high pressure soap spray and high pressure water rinse then dry off with the special microfiber towels in the MY. Special car drying towels/microfiber cloths and interior/dash wipes will be provided in the trunk. If the vehicle is in a condition that only could have been caused by irresponsible or abusive use/behavior (like stains, food spillage, smoking, beach sand on seat/carpet etc), we will report to Turo. • Can I use Express Lanes /Toll Rd during my trip?

  Yes, this car has Express Lane membership but remember its not included in your trip. You will receive an invoice for foral of your Toll/Express lane usage at end of your trip

• What do you require to before I start my Turo reservation?

  (1) Copy of your Driver’s License or a selfie where you are holding your ID next to your face and where the ID is legible for ID verification prior to taking the vehicle. This can also be done at the garage if you are meeting a team member in person. This can be uploaded into the Trip Photos or texted to our mobile. (2) Copy of your insurance coverage summary or proof of credit card rental coverage if you declined coverage through Turo or if you would like Chill Mode to be removed from your rental (Teslas ONLY). If you have Turo coverage, then this step is not necessary. (3) E-mail address so we can send you a high-resolution version of the receipts for Tolls & SuperCharger charges.

  We are located at Bronx Terminal Market, level 1 by the Electric Vehicle Chargers.

• What additional support do you provide EV renters on Turo?

  Joulez is an all EV Turo Host. We are conveniently located in the South Bronx by the Yankee Stadium and within the Queens Center Mall. There are two options to get you checked out: 1- Pick-up at one of our conveniently located garages 2- Curbside, an EV Expert will bring the car directly to you! A tutorial on the Electric Vehicle features can be provided with one of our EV Experts. Please make sure to ask us ahead of time if you need a tutorial as we need to make sure a team member is in the garage for your pickup. We can also do FaceTime or Zoom to walk you through the unique attributes of each EV.

• Do you offer Delivery?

  Yes, we offer vehicle delivery and pickup in the 5 boroughs of NYC, Westchester County, Nassau County in New York State along with Bergen County, Essex County, Hudson County, Union County and Passaic County in New Jersey. Please contact us for delivery and pickup rates. Delivery fees are billed through Turo.

• Are tolls or EV charging included in my rental?

  No. Tolls and EV charging are NOT included in the advertised rate or the included miles. Vehicle charging on third-party networks (Tesla, Electrify America and ChargePoint) that are automatically charged to Joulez corporate account are not covered and will be charged back after completion of your trip. There may be options to have Pre-Paid charging included as part of your rental on Turo instead of being charged after the rental for reimbursement. Tolls and EV Charging are billed via the Turo platform.

• Are we pet friendly?

  Dogs are allowed in our rental vehicles, but you must select one of the Pet Fees that are optional for the rental. Guests must keep the dog crated at all times with a towel or barrier to protect the seats underneath. The rental car must be returned in clean condition and free of pet hair to avoid a Turo-imposed cleaning/detailing fee. Service dogs used by customers with disabilities are allowed in the vehicle without a carrier but do require a towel or pet protection cover for the seats.

• What if I need to Change a Delivery or Pickup Location?

  For Deliveries, changes are only allowed up to 3 Hours prior to a reservation's start or end time. If you require a change in the delivery location or the pickup/delivery time with less than 3 Hours Notice, there will be a Pickup Change Fee of $50. This is because we are managing dozens of vehicles and any pickup/delivery changes can impact other customers and require us to make changes to other reservations as a result.

• What are the ‘Late Fees’?

  You have a grace period of 30 minuets when ‘dropping off’ a Vehicle, Each 30 minuets you’re late you will get charged.

• Offer E-ZPass?

  No, we do not have E-ZPass for the cars . You can still go through the E-ZPass Lane but you would get billed sent to you eventually of Toll.

• Can I come earlier than scheduled to ‘Pick Up’ the car?

  No, you cannot come early to pick up a vehicle.

• Could I ‘Drop-Off’ the vehicle earlier than scheduled?

  Yess, that is fine. You can Drop off a vehicle ‘earlier’ but you cannot be ‘Late’ dropping off a Vehicle. Contact me through Turo first for Confirmation of earlier drop off.

• Does the car have to have a full tank before returned?

  Yes, each car has to be returned with a FULL gas tank, not partial. We will charge a $10 inconvenience fee regarding Turo policy of Detail & Cleaning Services.

• Do you mind smoking?

  Yes, I charge $250 for any lingering smell of marijuana or tobacco.

• Could I extend My trip if I wanted to?

  It is possible for you to extend your trip you would just have to contact me first because it could be booked for another client.

• Can I come earlier than my set reservation time to ‘Pick Up’ the car?

  The Vehicle can only be given at the start time, so both guest and host are covered my Turo insurance! If you would like to pick up earlier you’ll have to modify your time!

• Can I 'Drop Off' the vehicle earlier that my set reservation time?

  If it is within our business hours the car can be dropped earlier, you'll need to get confirmation through turo text and then we just ask to modify the time accordingly!

• Can I keep the car longer than my set reservation time?

  Yes, it is possible if the vehicle doesn't have a future booking and/or if it falls in our business hour. It will count as an extension which you can request under the "details" tab on the app and then "modify trip". Once there you'll be able to change the date and time.

• Is smoking allowed?

  No, it is not and it is against Turo Policy. For more details you can view their personal page, they charge a smoking/cleaning fee as a well a ban on the account.

• What is the gas policies?

  All of our cars are given with FULL tanks, this is represented by the fuel gauge, NOT the miles shown per gallon. If it is not brought back fuel we will charge what is cost to fill up and $10 inconvenience fee is automatically charged per Turo policy of Detail & Cleaning Services.

• What will happen if I bring the car later than my end time?

  You have a grace period of 30 minutes when ‘dropping off’ a Vehicle. After that we follow Turo's Policies regarding the additional usage, the longer it takes for the vehicle to be brought back the charge increases. Guest have 5 hours to extend after their trip ends to avoid penalties.

• Do your cars have EZPASS?

  Our EZPASS is set up through the license plate and guests will be sent an invoice when it is processed through our account! Any tickets mailed to us throughout the guests trip will also be sent an invoice through the app

No smoking 🚭 SUN PASS toll transponder use is included with the vehicle. The GUEST is responsible for all TOLL charges incurred during your trip. Absolutely No Smoking 🚭 Vehicle must be returned at or above the fuel level the guest received it with. ⛽️ Vehicle must also be reasonably clean. -No excessive beach sand -No excessive mud, dirt, grime -No food, or food containers I understand you’re on vacation, and I don’t expect you to bring it back sparkling, but please be respectful, and courteous so everyone can continue to enjoy this car. Return of Excessively dirty vehicle will incur a post-trip clean up fee
